Something a Little Different
Custom artwork is truly limitless, moving far beyond classic paintings of family, pets, or landscapes. For this specialized project, a collector wished to translate a striking visual concept into a functional architectural element. After priming the porcelain blinds, I applied a rich, solid dark indigo acrylic finish to establish the background.
From there, the iconic imagery from the movie Metropolis 1927 was carefully transferred and hand-rendered, resulting in a unique, dramatic statement piece.
