Fine Art Restoration Services
My Expertise
Every artwork that enters my studio carries a unique history, and I am dedicated to providing the precise care it requires. Because each project is distinct, comprehensive restoration costs are best determined through an in-person evaluation. Factors such as the medium, materials, and structural condition allow me to design a tailored conservation plan.
Surface cleanings for smaller works are typically straightforward, with timelines ranging from two to four weeks and services beginning at $550. For more complex restoration—such as removing aged varnish, adding new backing, bridging, reversing discoloration, or repairing structural tears and flaking paint—the process becomes meticulously time-intensive. Fine art restoration is a precise, master-level craft that requires absolute patience. I invite you to schedule a consultation so we may evaluate your artwork together and discuss a clear scope of care, cost, and structural longevity.

Painting Restoration
No two art restorations are ever alike. This remarkable 300‑year‑old oil painting required an exceptionally delicate approach, with cleaning solutions carefully matched to each individual pigment. Working in very small sections, the process began with the lighter tones at the center and progressed outward, ensuring the original paint surface remained fully protected. A proper restoration unfolds over many weeks; it is a meticulous, methodical craft that cannot—and should not—be rushed.
